Eat an Alkaline Diet
Supporting a stable pH in the blood is essential for skin health. Eating an alkaline rich diet helps our bodies to retain balance both physically and mentally, which keeps break outs to a minimum. I recommend eating a 70% alkaline diet, however the emphasis has to be put on the joy you get from these simple things. It can be piling your plate high with bright colours will increase your vitamin and mineral intake and in turn improve your wellbeing. Try alkaline forming dark green veg accompanied by bright beets, blueberries and tomatoes(our favourite!) that are packed with immune boosting phytonutrients to keep your body and skin healthy.
Get your beauty sleep
Beauty sleep is not a myth. Our skin regenerates between the hours of 10pm and 2am, so ensuring that you have completed your skincare regime by this time is essential if you want to get the best out of your products. Aim for at least seven hours a night and sleep on a silk pillow to help prevent the development of fine lines and wrinkles.
